What does the Fellowship do?
- Conduct the FAW National Literary Awards – the largest series of awards conducted in Australia consisting of 18 awards.
- Regional activities including readings, workshops and other activities to encourage writers to meet other writers and develop their craft.
- Provide Four issues of The Australian Writer each year (see below for a detailed description of this magazine) to members
- Offer Free, professional advice on writing matters (including appraisal of contracts – see contact us section of this website)
